Shipwreck at Skeleton Coast, Namibia

The area north of Swakopmund is called Skeleton Coast with good reason. Many a ship was washed onshore and many a life lost in the middle of nowhere. Even today you wouldn't really want to get stranded in this part of the world. This photo was also published in Steven Johnson's "The Dummy's Guide to Shipwrecks and Hidden Treasures", something I am quite proud of.

NAMIBIA SHIPWRECKS

Good day. I am busy with a reseach into the various shipwrecks on the Namibian coast and ask the name of the wreck in the picture you have posted on the web.

Helmar replies: Sorry, but can't help you there. I only know where it is located but not the name. Should be easy to trace though through other maps that do have the names of the wrecks.
