Wisdom quote
Belief is not the foundation of our future, knowledge is. To our future descendants, we must demonstrate our willingness to challenge and question the so-called 'Truisms' of our time. We must show that we will not accept anything less than knowledge. Believing must give way to Knowing.
- Robert Morning Sky

Living in Paradise and having a window seat

I just got back from the Sand Bar in Camps Bay. Once again, after spending the day on the beach and playing volleyball, I ended up there with friends for a bite, a drink and a chat. After Roland and Jobst left, I stayed on, thinking, contemplating, relaxing, enjoying, .... and it dawned on me that this is paradise, and when you sit in the Sand Bar, you also got a window seat. Just when I wanted to leave, bill already paid, a woman walked in with her son...
I saw them there last week already and couldn't but notice her extraordinary beauty and her amazing smile. But what struck me even more was the loving and caring way she was dealing and communicating with her son. WOW!, I thought and got Christo to pass her a message saying just that and thanking her for that extraordinary gift.

Tonight she spent most of the time on the phone and looked anything but happy, so voilà, there was the second note, this time with lots of smileys, for her to use at her discretion. She soon after left, but good deed for the day done. Paradise with a window seat. Sweet. :)
