Change and growth takes place when a person has risked himself, and dares to become involved in experimenting with his own life.

Inspired Mind :: Health & Spirit

It's amazing yet shocking at the same time. We expect our body to provide top performance -- across our entire lifespan -- but how little do we do to actually look after it? This section offers a wealth of knowledge. So if you've decided to make that crucial break in your life, to turn an object of abuse into a positive, radiating source of energy, this is the place to visit. And plenty of external links await you, too.

Jim Dreaver: Buttons

Jim sent another newsletter, this time appropriately called "Buttons". I particularly enjoyed this sentence: "But as we become more established in our true, awakened nature, we are far less at the effect of those outer forces. We then bring greater clarity, confidence, and focus to the problems needing our attention." Spot on. For the full newsletter text, see below.

Sandy Stevenson: Unconditional Love

My friend Karina sent me this beautiful piece by Sandy Stevenson. Enjoy the read:

I love you as you are, as you seek to find your own special way to relate to the world. I honour your choices to learn in the way you feel is right for you.

I know that it is important that you are the person you want to be and not someone that others or I think you 'should' be. I realize that I cannot know what is best for you, although perhaps sometimes I think I do. I have not been where you have been, viewing life from the angle you have. I do not know what you have chosen to learn, how you have chosen to learn it, with whom or in what time period. I have not walked life looking through your eyes, so how can I know what you need.

Jim Dreaver: Seeing

Everything that can be seen changes, but you are the seeing, that which never changes. Know yourself as the seeing, and you'll always be fulfilled, at peace, and in the flow of life. You will be on purpose with your own unique mission or destiny here.

Jim Dreaver: Freedom

Freedom. It is one of the most cherished words in the English language. Certainly it is so here in America, where we value our freedom more than anything. Yet what does it mean, to be free?

Simply amazing: home-made Kombucha Tea

Readers of this site will already know my penchant for trying out all sorts of odd things - stuff most people laught about. It's obviously because they know shit, and it's easier to ridicule or laugh than to take that step themselves. Anyway, I don't know exactly when, but it was clearly more than a year that I made my last Kombucha Tea, which until last week lived a happy life in the back of my fridge - until it met its maker.

Jim Dreaver: Master Your Mind

As you become more present in your life, your awareness naturally expands and becomes more multidimensional. You tap into the true power of your mind, because now you know that while you have a mind, you are not your mind. You break free of the box of either/or, black/white thinking. Paradox and uncertainty are no longer seen as threatening, but rather are viewed as opportunities for engaging in fresh, creative thinking.

Shivambu Shastra - Healing with Urine Therapy

Interesting link on Urine Therapy. For your consideration.

Jim Dreaver: Learn to let go

Our stories are deep-rooted, and until we begin the journey of awakening, define us. Holding on to them, especially our inner demons, the stories that cause emotional pain, are major causes of fear-based reactions in the body. They result in that tight, knotted or sick feeling in the gut that signals stress. While these emotions certainly feel real while they last, they are in fact triggered by the thoughts and beliefs, the memory of a prior situation, in the mind. Seeing the unreality of those memories, from the perspective of consciousness, your wholeness, now, is the perceptual shift that frees you. Then letting go of the past happens naturally, and you experience true emotional harmony.

Suppressed Medical Discovery: Dr. Robert C. Beck ( Cancer,AIDS, anything viral)

Amazing 2hr video (400mb!) on Google of the late Dr Robert C. Beck at the Granada Forum on a cure for Cancer, AIDS, Lupus, Epstein-Barr, Herpes, etc. - information that according to Dr Beck has been deliberately surpressed for reasons you surely can figure out yourself. It's about blood electrification using micro currents for purifying blood and thus promoting better health. Long story, go watch it - or ask me for a copy in Flash Video format on CD.

Vitamin B17 in all common fruits you eat

Ever heard of Vitamin B17? If not, now is the time.

Ozone Cancer Treatment

It's been a loooong time since I last spent a good part of my day browsing the web for alternative health links. All this was prompted by an unexpected call I received today by a gentleman from Cape Town, who came across my website, phoned me up, and with whom I then had a 3 hour conversation on a plethora of subjects. Over the next couple of days I'll post a few more links I find worth sharing, but the one below is a read you shouldn't miss.

Jim Dreaver: Desire

This one slipped through the cracks, so here it is for your reading pleasure.

What takes us into the final phase of the journey is what fueled the hunger that drove us to embark upon this questioning and seeking: the longing, the yearning for true freedom.

Q. That sounds like you are talking about desire. Is not desire something we are supposed to be letting go of? Is not awakening synonymous with being free of desire?

Awakening is not being attached to desire. People who are awake are still living, breathing, feeling human beings. They still have desires, preferences, but the difference is that they are not attached to them. Consequently, they do not suffer. They do not experience disappointment, frustration, or anger when the desire is not fulfilled.

Jim Dreaver: Awakening

Another piece of wisdom from Jim found its way into my mailbox. Enjoy the read.

`To be awake, or enlightened, is to realize that everything between your ears, all your thoughts, memories, beliefs, stories, judgments, even your sense of “I” and “me,” is fundamentally an illusion. It is knowing that the only thing that is permanently real is consciousness itself, manifesting in this body, mind, and personality known as “you.’’ It is recognizing that the same consciousness which expresses as “you” is also expressing through every other human being as “them.” We truly are connected.

Jim Dreaver - How I work

Imagine living with an inner peace and joy that is self-sustaining, self-generating. It is so deep that nothing—no person, event, circumstance, or experience—can really disturb it.

Imagine living from a place of true clarity and presence within, knowing that no matter what the challenge facing you—a personal matter, a relationship problem, a work conflict, a financial difficulty, a health crisis—you have the confidence and wherewithal to deal with it.

Why dieting is just plain dumb

Brilliant article on IOL today. If you have a weight problem, go read it.

Jim Dreaver: Going Deeper

The heart of the teaching is seeing that you are not your story. Rather, you are what is looking at the story—clear, vibrant, present-time consciousness.

When you truly see this—and you will need to remind yourself often, that “I am not my story”—a shift happens. The story loses its power over you, the emotional upset or conflict dissolves, and your energy is freed up. You feel more centered and grounded in your true being, in awareness, or pure consciousness itself. You literally see everything with new eyes. You can deal with what’s before you with clarity and strength.

Live in Joy - a buddhist sutra

Osho - Joy
Just finished reading Osho's "Joy", which once again was an amazing and truly enlightening experience. No wonder he was disliked so much by the authorities. How could they tolerate a man with such clarity of thought and insight.

But here's the sutra which I'd love to share with you all...

Jim Dreaver: Enlightenment and Religion

Jim has published another one of his newsletters, this one titled "Enlightenment and Religion". Enjoy the read!

Religious Beliefs

At the heart of every religion, there is a core of truth that gave birth to the story, to the belief system. Most religions are built upon an original revelation of life’s fundamental unity and harmony, a revelation that came through a particular prophet or master. Unfortunately, not all of those who came after, and who gave form to the religion itself, who organized it, politicized it, and endlessly revised the story around it, had the same degree of insight and compassion. They didn’t share their founder’s awakening, or enlightenment.

Osho - Tools for Transformation

Osho - Intimacy
I just finished Osho's "Intimacy - Trusting Oneself and the Other", which again is full of beauty, insight, compassion and understanding. Right now it's helping me greatly in getting over a personal loss, but for you it may just be a wonderful thing to read, no matter what emotional state you currently find yourself in.

Author Barbara Rose had this to say about the book on Amazon.com: "Osho writes with such brilliance, and brings fantastic analogies and examples of people who long for intimacy, and simultaneously destroy it. People that are searching, be it for spiritual growth, career growth, or material success, they are searching everywhere but within.

Through this fantastic book, you will learn how to trust yourself to be vulnerable with yourself first so then you can share genuinely with another.

You will learn how to define what you love, and how to embrace this moment, create the relationship you have with yourself, so you can then RELATE to another. There need not be a ball and chain around your neck, and this book will help you to see that if anyone has been preventing genuine and authentic intimacy in your life, it is you, and your fears. Through this book you will learn how to uncover them, and get to know and truly love the REAL you, so you can then love another and feel safe, comfortable, and free at the same time.

Osho's writing style is tremendously enjoyable to read. His wisdom is profoundly enlightened, and this book will truly help you uncover much about yourself in the relationship department. Highly Recommended!"

So here, without much ado, I would again like to share an excerpt with you. Enjoy the read.
